My great grandfather was a boat builder, my grandfather owned a design-build company, my father is just winding down 45 years of continuous carpentry and I cannot remember a period in my life that I was not building or remodeling something.

As the owner of EFA and an architect licensed to practice in Washington, I am constantly questioning and reminding myself of our true objectives. My answers always come back to the simple premise that I started with: “to be able to provide the client with what they ask for.”
